Extreme Shrinkage, Useless after 1 WashSharonAfter following the wash/dry instructions and even using air dry setting rather than low there was still 6-8" of shrinkage on all 8 panels with no clean line at the bottom to re-hang them - it looks awful. Unfortunately I haven't washed them within the return time but they are basically useless trash curtains unless you plan on using them once and tossing them. This also happened on other grommet curtains from IKEA we bought to funish our new home with the inability to return due to being outside the return window as well. Very disappointed in these items and IKEA's return policy on these.1
Ritva RulesTerri LI loved the color when I saw them on the website . When I hung them I was so pleased with this purchase. The fabric is cotton , somewhat thick that still drapes comfortably. They have a textured pattern with or without light behind . I use these in a bedroom. I find the room softer , welcoming and more peaceful. Sounds like a lot for a curtain to do but the curtains are a punctuation to everything eles in the space .5

SEVERE SHRINKAGEMeaganWe washed the curtains according to the instructions, tumble dry low. They did NOT shrink the 4% as stated on the tag…I estimate that they stunk probably 15%. Our curtains were floor length and now about 6” off the ground.1
Shrinks a lot, inconsistent lengths ShirleyThese are nice looking curtains and a good weight. However, they shrunk from 65” to 61” after a cold wash and 10mins ultra-low heat drying. Yes I know you’re suppose to line dry but 4 inches is ridiculous. Even more frustrating were the inconsistent lengths within a single panel (middle longer than sides, etc) and between different panels. I had to buy several sets to find a good matching pair. These are only great if you’re going to hem after the shrinking. Otherwise, it is just too frustrating.2

Significant shrinkage & varying lengthsAlishiaI’m really disappointed in the quality of this product. The tag said there will be minimal 4% shrinkage and that wasn’t the case. I washed according to the product tag and the panels shrunk in all different sizes. The once too long panels are now way too short. Do not recommend.1
Shrunk a lot and unevenlyLeslieI see so many reviews about shrinkage from years past. IKEA responds by saying they’ll refer it to their team. Obviously, that is useless, because they are still shrinking unevenly and now they are just drop cloths for painting. As curtains they were reasonably priced. As drop cloths they are way, way overpriced. Not to mention the trouble of replacing them - obviously not with more IKEA curtains. Can’t be trusted. 1

Perfect Privacy CurtainsSaraThese are exactly what I wanted - thick enough to provide privacy, still allows some light through. They have a nice (in my opinion) weight and texture to them. Easy to wash. Can either hang with curtain hooks or on a rod. Have them in both my living room and bedroom now, layered under a darker color. Love!5
