RINGBLOMMA roman blinds in durable polyester. The white, easy-blend fabric, filters light and feels fresh. Raise/lower with magnets. Washable and suitable in any room including kitchens and bathrooms.

Product details

The fabric dims daylight entering the room and reduces glare. It gives a comfortable sense of privacy as people cannot see in. At night, silhouettes can be perceived from outside when the room is lit.

Can be used in all rooms and on all types of surfaces, even in damp areas such as bathrooms.

The strong polyester fibers hold colors well, are shrink-resistant and can be washed again and again.

Blinds reduce heat from the sun as well as heat loss from draughty windows. For best effect, mount the blind inside the window recess, or as close to the window as possible to prevent gaps.

You can easily raise the blind to several pre-determined heights as it has magnets in the channels.

The blind is cordless for increased child safety.

Available in many widths to adapt to different window sizes for a coordinated look throughout the home.

The slot heading allows you to hang the blind directly on a curtain rod.

You can also hang the blind using the included hooks.

Great Basic Light Filtering ShadeStephanieI have these throughout my entire house and love them. You could potentially see through these at night if the light inside was bright or somebody was standing up close to your window (creepy) but we use them with curtains and just close curtains at night. They are perfect in the daytime. They give you privacy during the day but you still get good light through them. I would recommend.5

Great look but not for meKaseyWe bought these for a new house we moved into but I ended up returning them because a) I bought the wrong size and b) I'm not certain yet they're the look I'm going for but they might be. They are a little thin but should give a good level of privacy and I love the hardware is very simple. Still unsure but good quality roman shades I'd consider again4

Broken ribs, loose magnets dangerous for kids/pets Anonymous reviewerThese blinds are great, but they have one big flaw: The ribbing that encases the magnets (that allow you to raise the shades) break within a few years, even in climates that are not sunny/hot year-round. The magnets can become loose, which is dangerous for young children and pets. IKEA should really make replacement ribs available or redesign the ribbing so that it lasts.3

Why not producing it in 36x63" anymore?AtabayI dont know why Ikea stop manufacturing ringblomma in 36x62'' size anymore. They have all sizes except 36''. Same for the striped variation.5
Best faux Roman shadesMadelineI have been using these for seven years. They don’t fade and they last. I have used them in kitchen, office bedrooms, and even bathrooms. They also work as a valance over blinds on a curtain or drapery rod, just remove the screws and plastic insert. No one else sells anything like this. Please don’t ever discontinue this product.5
