Don’t buy JamesThe middle part bent
Loudest Bedframe ValeriaNo that hard to assemble but since we put it together we can’t really use the bed because of all the noise it makes it’s definitely extremely loud wouldn’t recommend it at all
The bed is not strong as expected and missing the nuts and bolts and screws JanakI don’t see option for return and none is available to talk as well
Squeakiest bedKellyThis bed was great for a couple months. Later found out it’s the squeakiest bed. I don’t even move, could totally be laying still and it squeaks. Looked up online to see if this was common and it is. Try to fix it and couldn’t. Would not recommend and would not buy again.
Not bad but not good eitherYanaAfter a year of having this bed frame it broke. I used to have this one in a blue color, it looked perfect, but in reality it wasn't that good. its just me and my partner sharing this bed and half year thru we started noticing one side of the bed basically sinking under us. today it broke down fully
Beautiful nightmare.MatthewIt's a beautiful bedframe and my wife and I love it. Nightmare to assemble, though. Still recommend it with the LONSET bed base.
Nice oak veneer color but sides should be flushSaraColor is nice and overall look is clean lines however it would be better if the sides were flush with the mattress, currently the sides are like a wrap outside the mattress so if you hit the sides your shins will suffer. Other than that no noise issues but I did not use the slats, I used a bed base that fit into the frame (so the frame is just to look nice basically).
This bed does not assemble properlyJohn M AndrewsThe small round gears that are supposed to attach the head board and side rails together does not assemble it properly. Any suggestions. As it stands now, the bed is useless.

Almost 20 yearsBrianI bought this bed 19 years ago, when I first moved out at 19. I am a big guy 6'4 and around 245lbs. This bed has been assembled and disassembled countless times. Seen three apartments, sat in storage for a year and finally ended up in the spare bedroom of my first home. Thought the year it has been abused and its still perfect. Actually hard to believe I've had it this long. I just picked up a new bed at ikea and thought of how well the Malm had been to me. Thats why I decided to write this review now. Its served me well and still doesnt make noise and looks good. Im actually giving the bed frame to my nephew. Highly recommend this bed.
Its okayJaclynAssembly was tiring for one person. It makes quite a bit of noise. Every shift and movement makes noise. Not great but not horrible. Looks nice.
