The mattress is very goodLarryIt's soft ,firm and a great deal
Started sinking within monthsKevinI bought this mattress this year. It is an extra firm mattress supposedly, but it started sinking and creating a whole in the middle in the first months of use. I went away for 3 weeks and it does not bounce back. I wake up with back pain, it's uneven and became really uncomfortable.
Always loved IKEA mattresses, but deeply regretted this one.
After only one month the surface starts to have unequal surface and form holes ArianaI bought the mattress one months ago and it truly disappointed me. Before that I had the same mattress but in size queen - never experienced the same issue. But with this one, after only one month the surface started to change and form holes in the area where I sleep the most. The hole are so deep and cause back pain in the mornings just because the surface fluctuates so fast. And to return or exchange it - is impossible for me physically. The mattress is so heavy to carry anywhere for one person.
Regarding dissatisfaction with the productEvren KolasI have been waking up with back pain in the mornings ever since we bought the product. We thought we would get used to it as we used it. However, nothing changed. We would like to return this product.
HorribleDianaI will try the exchange, because we had this delivered. We bought the Queen Medium firm and it is nothing like the one we bought in 2019, that one was comfortable and lasted. With this one you will sink into the middle of the mattress, we have only had it two weeks, just horrible; I'm in pain every morning. They know this is an issue and it needs removed from inventory. I have always loved Ikea products, but this may have changed my mind. Let's see how this exchange goes.
Sagging after just two weeksIuliiaThe mattress started to develop a noticeable indentation within only two weeks, even though I weigh just 50 kg.
Please also note that the advertised mattress exchange option does not actually work as one might expect: you cannot arrange an exchange through delivery. You have to bring the mattress to a local IKEA store yourself, which is physically impossible for me (there is a reason I paid $60 to have the mattress delivered to my home in the first place). The only alternative is to return it and buy a new mattress, paying the delivery fee all over again. I suppose I’ll just buy my next mattress somewhere else.

Best sleep in a long, long timeDianaI love this mattress. I just moved and bought the mattress to go with my new Malm bed in my new condo. Even after 18,000 steps on move in day and an aching body, I was very comfortable and able to sleep really well.

Nonexistent edge supportShirleyBudget option with mediocre comfort. Just beware there is zero edge support if you have little kids or elderly. My toddler almost fell backwards a few times when the edge dipped down significantly and he’s only 20lbs! We have the medium firm. The firm one gave us backaches.
Backaches, Return was a frustrating experienceShirleyTried the mattress in store and decided on a firm. The one we received was A LOT firmer. We had to exchange before the 90 days were up. I called customer service to initiate the process and the rep said she opened a ticket for the closest store to call me. They never called. After a week, I called the store directly, and operator said someone will call me. Yet no one called again. I called the general customer service again and found out they could have initiated the process for me the first time… the first rep was incompetent and wasted my time. Any way, I wasn’t able to do an immediate exchange. I had to wait for my mattress to be picked up, evaluated, then store credit to be issued. All in all, I was without a mattress for more than two weeks and wasted almost a months time to get it all sorted. Do not buy their mattress unless you have the means to drive it back yourself if it doesn’t work out.

Extremely soft edgesKirstenThis mattress started out pretty well and was medium firm. However, in less than a year it’s become very soft, and the edges are incredibly soft to the point that the mattress is effectively smaller than a queen as it’s hard to be near the edge. Would not recommend.

Not Firm as AdvertisedMelanieThe Firm Option of this mattress, it not at all firm. I'm about 135 lbs and I sink into the brand new mattress. Ikea used to sell affordable very firm mattresses 10 years ago. It seems their new firm options are not firm at all. Really dissapointed.
