HmmKarenDon’t be fooled by the nice display—this bed frame is a complete disappointment. One of the wood panels arrived already cracked, and the drawer wood is just a bunch of cheap scraps glued together. As soon as we tried screwing it in, it split apart. The assembly was an absolute nightmare. We’ve bought frames from TEMU with clearer instructions and actual bolts and nuts that hold things together properly. This one? Flimsy, frustrating, and not worth the money. The quality is nowhere near acceptable. Avoid.

Confusing but Rewarding!StephanieMy partner and I were able to build this bed within 3 hours, you definitely need 2 minds. I recommend using a drill carefully as you can damage the wood, but if you do it well, it really speed ups the process a lot!
Disappointed JillianIKEA makers of Hemnes bed changed so much back when I got it in 2016. The drawers were much larger and further back so you could put more clothes in. I feel as though now the Product is cheaply made, everything is much thinner and flimsy, and the instructions were horrible to follow!

Hemes bedNancyI think I will like the bed if we could finish putting it together!! There are 6 missing screws! We went to IKEA to get the missing screws and they won’t give us any. Very poor customer service! You should think twice before buying anything from IKEA.

Slat brokenAynaOn 3rd day the slat was broken. I sat on the bed (I’m not a big person 60kg) and heard the crack sound. I’m afraid to think what could happen if my 3 years old kid would jump on it. Called to costumer service, they promised to send new slat. Waiting for it…but the fact of this is sad…
Slats brokeSandraSlats broke when moving across it. Im not sure if they are spaced further apart, or if the quality of wood slats cheapened or were cut thinner, but my daughter's bed we bought 3 years ago has never broke, and this one broke within the week we had it!

Nice daybed - heavy trundleEdnaThis is a nice daybed, but it's not a great trundle bed. It's almost impossible to pull the trundle out without damaging the structure of the bed. It's not practical.

Replaced my worn sleeping sofa.NicholasPerfect fit to our bonus room. It replaced our worn sleeping sofa. Now we enjoy watching movies and hosting friends overnight. The storage underneath keeps the linens with the bed and not in some far reaching closet. No upholstery to clean and protect. Solid wood surfaces are easy to clean and keep the cats from tearing the upholstery. Once assembled, (what a chore), it is solid and fits the space and our needs.
Excited TEEN! Happy mom!ErinI didn't go looking for new bed even though my newly teen daughter was getting her new room, with no other roommates (younger siblings) for her birthday. Then she saw it! The cutest, bed in her favorite color and as a mom that needed her room to stay organized and be easy to clean I was more than happy and just as excited as she was for this to be her new bed in her new room.
Not the bestJohnLoved the idea, but in execution it falls short. First of all, it was very difficult to put together with 2 people. I would recommend having a professional to help. The mattress always feels like it is on an incline, which makes it pretty uncomfortable to sleep on as a twin bed, but one of the extender slats already snapped (I've had the bed for 2 months and I'm not that big of a person, nor was I doing anything crazy on the bed), so it's no longer really usable as a queen either unless I buy replacement pieces. Kind of not sure what to do now as this is my only bed that I have to sleep on every night. Going back I would just spend the extra money and get something better quality.
