Functional, Chic Cache PotAlexanderAs a ‘serious plant person’ (aka someone who grows far too many houseplants for what would normally be deemed sane) I have already purchased four of these. They work brilliantly as cache pots — especially if you’re growing in a semi-hydroponic setup and use a clear nursery pot. Once you have your plant in its growing medium, within the clear nursery pot, slip it into this beautiful glass vessel and ta-dah! You’ll be treated to a pretty ideal configuration because this glass pot obviously allows you to easily monitor your water/reservoir levels, but it’s dark enough that the root system won’t be nearly as inclined to algae growth. A plant in a 4” nursery pot sits prefects into these as well, not only looking resplendent but again, allowing for space at the bottom for your water reservoir. Clearly I’m a big fan! May need to pick up a few more.
