great featuresTinksmassageThe reason I did not give it 5 stars is we live 2 hours away from an IKEA and needed some extra screws which can not be bought at a normal hardware store. I would recommend that IKEA add EXTRA screws/hardware in their products; as normal hardware does not fit them correctly. Therefore, I had to wait to finish putting together until we received the hardware needed. I bought this bed due to living in a small space and the drawers underneath was the huge advantage due to not having a lot of storage space. I really like the bed a lot and it is a lot sturdier than expected. The only other thing is I totally understand the reason behind screwing it into the wall but I feel that it should be a choice as I rent and can not screw heavy furniture into the wall.4
So happy to have the extra storagePerks1209I've had this bed for 3 weeks and still can't believe how awesome it is. The storage drawers are amazing and I can't find enough stuff to fill them. So happy with this purchase and the quality of the drawers.5
NiceJA04Perfect bed and saves space. The drawers are large and holds plenty of clothes. It wasn't difficult to put together.4
Just What I Was Hoping For!Here Are My ThoughtsI had been eyeing this bed for well over a year and FINALLY pulled the trigger. I’ve had it for a month now, and am very happy with my purchase; it fits perfectly within my space, and the four LARGE storage drawers were JUST what I was looking for. Putting the bed together was a bit time-consuming, but after I finally finished the task, I literally felt accomplished... and seriously felt like I deserved a trophy. LOL The bed feels very sturdy, and holds my mattress very well; I did not purchase one of IKEA’s mattresses, but a queen cooling gel memory foam from elsewhere. The ONLY thing that held me back from buying this bed sooner was because I really wish it came in a natural color—not just black, grey, and white. But, I bought the white, and am decorating it to fit my decor... so it all worked out.5
La PrietaI am very happy with my purchase! The storage in this bed is wonderful!5
AshrobbThe bed wasn't too hard to put together. I put it together by myself in a few hours. The drawers are very smooth and easy to open/close and it has way more storage than I expected, which is awesome!5
Frustrating to buildAngel_24I never write reviews but figured this was worth it because theres a lot of tricks you should pick up making this bed. For one, watch videos on how to build it. The instructions are tricky. Two: PLEASE screw the rails for the drawers on tight. The screws stripped on me and two of the drawers don't close now cause they stick out. Also when doing the metal beam attachment steps, make sure you set them up to the bottom set of holes, it makes the bed way too high and I had to redo the whole thing. Its so tedious. I wouldn't recommend it just because the drawers screws broke so easily, and it took me 3 days to build. The drawers aren't very sturdy either. I got the lonset bed frame, which was also hard to assemble (would recommend the plank option.)2
Great Bed!Jayla2326This bed is sturdy, really pretty to look at and the drawers are really big. I got the LIERSUND (sorry if that's wrong spelling) bed slats and this is my dream bed. Now, I just wish that there was a way to attach the brimnes headboard that way it won't slide on my vinyl flooring. But overall, putting it together was a little overwhelming for me because this was my first big purchase from IKEA. But it came out nicely. Well worth it.5
missing partserikagutierreza week after i got my bed i decided to build it. took my friend an i almost 5 hours to build it. i was so excited that i was finally going to have a frame for my mattress until i realized i didn’t have certain pieces. i’ve tried calling customer service since 5/28/20 but every time i get told that they’re not accepting calls. i just want to get my missing pieces so i could finish putting together my bed frame.4
YellowboneI bought this less than a month ago, and one major piece on the cross part thats sits in the middle then attaches to the for sides of the bed, was very difficult to tighten. Then the drawers can be a tad overwhelming to get both sides on the correctly to make the drawers roll inward. It takes alot of patience and time to install. Please make sure you have enough space to maneuver to put together and insert drawers. Overall, I love it. I am moving, and considering hiring a member of IKEA if the have their contact lifted. I have alot of furniture from IKEA, but this one took alot out of me.. i held off the other pieces due to tiredness.5
Great bed for small spaceNYClivingWe have had this bed now for over 6 years and it still looks like new! The drawers fit a huge amount of stuff and are very smooth opening and closing!5
Great bedIslander1356Im not sure why others people are have issues with this bed. We have it in our summer cottage. Wonderful storage well constructed for the price. Assembly was easy. Those that he problems maybe they dont know how to assembly the bed correctly. For the money great bed.5
Great Bed, Bad packagingCeltieLGThe bed has been great. Just what you see in photos and on the showroom floor; drawers move well on tracks. We got the assembly ordered through Ikea with TaskRabbit at a flat rate. Good thing because it's so time consuming that it took the installer about 2.5 hours just to put the bed together. Although it takes forever, I appreciate that it is well assembled. Works fine with the slats as the base, which fit in the metal interior frame with a crossbar for more support. Here's the issue and the only reason for the rating lower than 5: the boxes were delivered through Ikea and the one with most of the boards making up the frame had enough space in it to allow for slipping. Thus, the bed was delivered and the box didn't appear damaged at all but inside the footboard was gouged in multiple places and the particle board parts showing were not repairable. Since the TaskRabbit guy assembled the furniture, we had to just let him do it and not attempt to take it back to the store. The one thing we didn't want to do was haul that bed around or have to pay to reschedule the assembler. Because of this, we have a sturdy bed with very bad esthetics! And the footboard is the first thing you see when you walk into the bedroom :-(3
Do not buyDreDay3663I bought this bed a few years ago and I've regretted it ever since. It is garbage material and for those of us who can't afford a new bed more than once every ten years if that, this is a huge waste of money and honestly a burden. It makes so much noise, I am terrified it will fall apart when my cats go to lay down. The awful material the bed is made from literally flakes apart after 2 years. The drawers are useless because I put at most 5 lbs of fabric in them. I can't imagine anyone liking this thing, unless you never intend on sleeping in it or even going hear it.1
I love this bed!jayhollywoodBought this a few months ago after moving into my new apartment. I had no trouble with assembly because I smartly hired a TaskRabbit to come build it. I don't get why people are so frustrated with assembly — if you aren't skilled enough to do it, hire someone who can. And because I don't jump or flop around on my furniture, I have no issues with its sturdiness. This bed is perfect for my needs and I will be buying another.5
Not very sturdyBigKidDadI bought this 2 years ago for my very large son. It has broken three times now. He's massive now but at the time I bought it he wasn't all that big and it couldn't stand up to him not realize he can't just flop down on furniture anymore. It's probably fine for careful adults or smaller kids. Decided to just get a cheap metal frame for his bed and a separate dresser.2
JunkDouglasCouttsMy 20 something yo daughter purchased this a few days ago. I just spent six hours helping her assemble this piece of junk. Designing and building furniture has been one of my careers and passions. (I won one award for my cost effective, aesthetically pleasing designs.) Trust me. This is a piece of junk. Assembly is so one-time that, when she next moves, I anticipate cutting it up and throwing it in the land fill instead of moving it to another apartments... very sad.1
Great Bed Frame But Assembly Can Be FrustratingVanadisysI just purchased this bed and overall it's amazing. The drawers are much larger than I anticipated, which is a great plus. The materials are sturdy and well made, and look fantastic. It fit my full sized mattress perfectly. Some reviews mention squeakiness or that the bed is noisy, I haven't had this at all. I bought it with the standard Luroy slats, and my bed doesn't make a sound. Im guessing the other reviewers might not have tightened everything well enough. I also have a memory foam mattress, and that might make a difference. The one big thing to write about I think is the assembly time. Don't start putting this together unless you have time to spare. I built this by myself with a drill, screwdriver, and hammer. You will want/need to have these. It took me approximately 8 hours to build start to finish. I didn't have any issues with the instructions, but im 22. If you're older you may have trouble with the instructions as they're wordless. The pieces can also be a bit heavy, so be prepared to do some lifting. Also: make sure to take into account how tall your mattress is. There are two settings for height of the mattress, and the highest setting is used in the instructions. If your mattress is tall on its own, use the lower setting. Overall, I believe it takes so long to put together because at the end its almost bullet proof. Incredibly sturdy and stable. I love it!5
Don’t buyKyle315101If your drawer breaks they don’t have ones you can buy you have to buy a whole new model at full cost1
