Purchase as part of the Brimnes bedAmyFirst time using a slated base. Honestly feels like it provides much more stability than a traditional box spring. 5
NOT WORTH THE HASSLERobertThis has to be one of the worst designs of a bed base I’ve ever had. They fall down EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. I double checked that I put them on properly and sure enough I had. I DO NOT recommend these to anyone.1
Don't fit twin bedsJennifferThis only gets 2 stars because of the east assembly. They are too short to actually fit a twin bed. Multiple fall out of place when I move. And Ikea customer service will probably say it is because of poor assembly on my part. That isn't even possible. You open the box, you lay them on the rails as supposed to and then put a mattresson top. They just barely reach and then slip off2
Fixed the slipping issue with zip tiesKannaFor those who have misplaced the black parts or haven't installed them and are having issues with the slats sliding around, try putting zip ties around the fabric part and the 3 little holes along the railing. I got really long ones to tie the last slats to the ends of the frame. Maybe that helps someone.3
Not long or wide enoughC.I bought this because made it seem like it would fit any IKEA queen size bed but it is too short and not wide enough on the sides so the wood slants keeps falling off the bed frame1
The negative reviews are dumbJaydenThe slats work great! The reviews from people who are displeased probably aren’t setting it up right. The arched side needs to be facing upwards, which locks the slats in place as well. They work super great as intended and I’ve heard zero squeaks or noises from them. 4
Affordable comfortMaryThis slate provides an economical base for a full size bed for someone on a budget.4
Loud and fall almost dailyEmilyThese creak with every movement and fall most nights so that my mattress falls through the frame. Really horrible product.1
Bed SlatsStevenThey work5
Work Great!AnthonyI don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. They’re bed slats, fit my bed perfectly, they don’t make noise, bed doesn’t wobble or move. People who are leaving 1 stars probably don’t know how to install them properly. I also have an IKEA bed so maybe if you don’t have an IKEA bed they might not work right, not sure. If you have an IKEA bed and follow to beds instructions for installing them they work perfectly!5
QualityPatrickWe love our ikea gear5
NOT GOODBrithneyIt makes the bed squeak with the slightest movement.1
King bed slatsPaulineEasy to unfold, especially with 2 people. Fit nicely on king platform bed. Have been using it for 3 months now with no issues. Simply placed king mattress on top.5
Strong.JerryI weigh 230lbs and these planks hold my weight just fine. I fitted these onto my NEIDEN bed frame (in lieu of a box mattress) and what surprised me was that THESE PLANKS DON'T SQUEAK! Even when I shift around they don't make a sound.5
terribleLuludon't waste your money. I wish I just saved the $40 to get something better. these have no support, literally can't even stay on the bed frame. I have no idea what kind of bed this was made for but it's a terrible product.1
Slats do not stayDestineeI recently bought my bedframe with these slacks 1/1/26 and thought maybe it was improperly put together and that is why the slacks will immediately drop/slide/ and move. It is very annoying as they do not have the support that they need and constantly shift no matter how much I fix it. If I could leave no stars I would..I recommend NOT buying these slacks as these will be a bigger hassle and annoyance in the future.1
Horrible DesignMichelleI bought a king-size bed with the required slats, and the design has been a huge disappointment. The slats are arched upward, which causes the bed to dip in the middle. Every single night I roll toward the center, and now my brand-new mattress already has a noticeable dent in the middle. Since using this bed, I’ve been dealing with terrible back and shoulder pain. The design is just awful. I would strongly recommend avoiding this style altogether.1
Slips and slidesChatoneMore hassle than its worth.1
Broken and sliding RachelFor these for my queen bed and about a year and a half after owning, I noticed the slats were disconnecting from the vertical connecting band. This caused the slats to slide around and my mattress so constantly fall through… very annoying 1
Worst designRachelI HATE these boards. They break too easily and they don’t stay in place like they should. I’m constantly fixing them and putting them back into there place. I regret getting these boards with this bed. I don’t recommend these and if I knew that these were going to be doing this I would’ve gotten a metal frame that doesn’t come with these boards at the bottom. Worst design ever.1

What is layer-glued wood?

With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape. We often use wood like birch, beech, ash and even bamboo – and strive to use the raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste. Just like solid wood, it has natural variations in structure and colour.
