Two glass shelves included.
Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

DefectiveLeciaReally love this design; purchased *just* after the insane price increase, if that tells you anything.
What a waste. The holes on the sides don't line up so the little pieces to secure the shelf can't screw in anywhere on one side. Also, the bottom wasn't flat at all when locked into place (one corner much higher than the others, bending the metal). Arrived in otherwise good condition. Also checked a couple times over and did receive all of the necessary parts.
Another couple reviews mention the *exact* same manufacturing defects -- clearly some quality control issues with this product.
Such a disappointment, was so excited for this.

Damaged, in the same place others have saidJan DaveI saw that many reviewers noted that the top of their cabinets were damaged, and I thought that maybe they were just unlucky. However, mine also arrived with a paint chipped, crooked top panel that I had to push to get to fit. Seems to be a common issue. Other than that, I found it very easy to assemble, with only 15 quick steps involved, and it was the perfect size for the corner I wanted to put it in.

Perfect and easy to assembleTonashaI bought two of these a few years ago and bought another Two a couple months ago. They are sturdy and very easy to assemble , anyone saying otherwise just does not know how to put things together. Out of everything I’ve bought from IKEA this is the simplest to assemble. I use them to store my snow globes, etc. The only thing I would say about them is that they have increased in price over the years and even though there is a clearance sticker on it on the website it’s really not because the price is more expensive than the first time I bought it.
Super Hard to assembleDanisVery very hard to assemble. Screw holes in the bottoms and tops didn’t work. Always falling apart while trying to assemble. Instruction isn’t clear. They should’ve checked the quality before they put this for sale. Gonna return and buy other cabinet. This just wasted my time.
