MehYvetteIt's partly my bad because I didn't look for deceptions, but this pot was bought b/c it has no hole in the bottom, which I wanted so I could just add my plant in a plastic pot and just let the water run into this stoneware pot and be contained. Certainly, plants are shown in the photos using this same technique. But the first photo shows an unfinished interior, which I wasn't expecting at this price, and especially since the photos with the plants showed otherwise. Now I have to buy one of the crappy clear plastic drip trays in just the right size and then see if I can get my plant to sit squarely on top of the grooves of those crappy plastic drip trays. Holy cow, and if I added low water plants straight to this, soil and all, it would still be a huge problem since the very bottom is also unfinished, thus guaranteeing that the water will seep through and ruin the surface below and become moldy. All of this just because the interior is not finished. Not happy about this at all.1

LeaksLaurelThis is a beautiful pot. It has lovely curves. It is an off-white color that might not appeal to everyone, but I liked it. Unfortunately, it leaks. I put water in it and quickly saw bubbles in the water and then water leaked slowly out of the base onto my counter. 3

This is a beautiful pot with a nice white color that goes with a lot of styles, not bright white, with a nice curvy shape & beautiful hand feel on the outside. I gave my son this pot and he loves it.5
