How to get started with the IKEA Kitchen Planner?
You can start planning your kitchen in two ways: from scratch or by choosing one of our design suggestions. Both options are available in the IKEA Kitchen Planner tool.
Before you begin, we recommend signing in to your IKEA Family account. This allows you to save your plan and return to it later whenever you need.
To start planning:
- Go to the IKEA Kitchen Planner.
- Click on "Start new planning".
- Choose your initial preferences: oven placement, type of extractor fan, fridge/freezer combination, and kitchen layout. You can change these options later or select "Plan from scratch".
Next steps:
- Select a room layout that resembles your kitchen.
- Start adding products and adjusting measurements as needed.
Need help or inspiration?
- You can consult our kitchen guide directly in the planner.
- You can also explore pre-made planning suggestions to get inspired and make the process easier — or visit our kitchen gallery for even more ideas.
