What accessibility measures are available at IKEA?

At IKEA, we believe everyone should feel welcome, safe, and comfortable during their shopping experience — whether in-store or remotely.

🏬 In-store accessibility

To support our customers with reduced mobility or other specific needs, we offer:

  • Wheelchairs available at the store entrance
  • Accessible parking spaces
  • Elevators and wide aisles for easier movement
  • Guide dogs and assistance dogs are always welcome

At the IKEA Loures store, in the Lisbon area, we also offer a personalized accessibility service for customers with physical and/or sensory limitations.

💻 Remote planning with Portuguese Sign Language interpreter

Did you know we also offer a remote planning service with a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter?

This service was created with our deaf customers in mind, ensuring that everyone can plan their home with the support of an IKEA specialist — with full understanding and comfort.

📅 For appointments or more information, customers can visit our website.

To support your visit, we have wheelchair access, accessible parking spaces, elevators and wide aisles in the store. Guide dogs or assistance dogs are also welcome in IKEA stores.

In our Loures store (in the Lisbon area) there is a personalized accessibility service for our customers with physical and/or sensory limitations. See more information here.
