What If I am unable to redeem IKEA Gift card or Digital Refund card?

Ensure your Gift card or Digital Refund card has sufficient balance and correct credentials; IKEA customer support can assist on placing your order and resolving issues.

Steps to redeem Gift card/Digital Refund card:

Login to IKEA website using your IKEA Family/Business credentials.
Search for the products you want to buy and add them to your cart. Once you've added the items, review your cart and click "Continue to check out."
Next, choose your delivery option. Select "Regular Delivery" if you want IKEA to deliver the items, or "Collect at store" if you prefer to pick them up yourself. After selecting the delivery option, click "Continue" and update your address details if you're opting for IKEA delivery.

On the payment page, select the "IKEA Gift/Refund card" option. Enter the Gift card number printed on the card and enter the 4-digit PIN printed on the card. If you're redeeming a Digital Refund card, enter the card number and redemption code sent to your registered email. After entering the card details, accept the terms and conditions and click "Pay" to confirm your order.

Additional troubleshooting steps if you encounter any issues while redeeming the Gift card/Digital Refund card:

To redeem your Gift card or Digital Refund card, ensure there is sufficient balance on the card and verify that the card details are entered correctly. You can check your balance online and also at IKEA store by speaking to a co-worker.
Our coworker will assist you in checking the card balance and status. If the card is active with sufficient balance, they can place the order on your behalf by requesting the card details from you. If any issues arise during Gift card redemption, the issue will be escalated to the relevant team, and you will be contacted within 48 hours.
For issues with Digital Refund card redemption, the existing card will be blocked and a new card issued in real-time if not used within validity period. Once the new card is generated and sent on your registered email id, our coworker will place the order on your behalf by requesting the card details from you.
The physical card number and/or PIN number are no longer fully legible.
If the card number and/or PIN are not legible, it is unfortunately not possible to redeem the funds on the card. Any gift cards damaged in this way are no longer valid as a payment method, and these cards cannot be replaced or refunded.
The gift card or refund card balance has suddenly disappeared.
When you add your gift card or refund card to an order, the required amount is reserved and removed from the balance. If you did not complete that order for any reason and want to try again, it can take up to 1-2 hour for the reservation to be undone and your balance to be restored. Wait until this time has passed and try placing your order again.
