What is IKEAs return policy?

Your satisfaction with your IKEA purchase is important to us. If you are not completely happy or simply changed your mind, you can return your products within 365 days.

You can only return or exchange products bought from IKEA Stores, Online shopping (via IKEA website) & ordered by phone (via customer support centre) 

You have 365 days to exchange or return your purchase. Please refer our generous IKEA return policy

Return or exchange all IKEA products, except for Food Articles, Live Plants, Custom made worktops & gift cards. There must also not be any obvious signs of damage, stains or marks on the item. IKEA will give you a full refund after an assessment has been conducted and IKEA is reasonably satisfied that the products are returned to IKEA in re-sellable condition. You also cannot make any modifications to the product. Any modifications you do to a product such as drilling holes, painting or removing parts during use, will void the warranty, as it no longer functions the way it was designed. In case of product malfunction or damage (not caused by customers), based on the inspection IKEA will offer exchange or refund in a refund card / gift card.
