You need to buy a Vågdal cable too!Anonymous reviewerLooked at this for ages in the store, read the info that says you need a Trådfri driver and a Förnimma power cable. Get home to find you also need a Vågdal cable to connect the Mittled to the Trådfri and that they're an additional £3.50! Does not say that in the shop, does not say that on this website. Of course, you can't get just a £3.50 cable delivered either.

Under cabinet lightingAnonymous reviewerGreat product. Though randomly flash in the morning a few times, then stabilise. You need the hub and driver to link all for remote operation.
Illuminating Anonymous reviewerA well designed sleek light strip for worktop illumination. Easy to fit and to join with additional strips for longer runs. You must also buy the transformer and wiring kits to make it work, pity these are not sold as kits. Note, you end up with lots of spare cable which cannot be cut down to your required lengths due to the fittings. Comes in 2 colours so make sure you match components when selecting.
No cable now?!Anonymous reviewerI brought several of these a year or so ago and they came with cables, as you’d expect. I just ordered a couple more (which are now more expensive) and they arrived without cables - you have to buy them separately at an additional £2.50. Annoyingly it doesn’t mention this when you purchase, so you only find out when it arrives without and you can’t fit them. You then have to pay another few quid for delivery!
Light comes with no cable...?Anonymous reviewerI was excited to get home and try the eight lights I bought and assemble them to my kitchen counters, only to find out they don't come with a cable and it doesn't mention that it is required. I have the power supply as mentioned but there was no mention on the box at all about requiring a cable and the website doesn't say its required either.
Intermittent function at bestAnonymous reviewerA very frustrating product.
Integrates well with the cabinets, easy to install and looks good. However, the connection when connecting one unit to another is dreadful where the slightest knock causes the connection to fail. It’s getting to the point where I’m considering gluing them together to stop the fragile connection from failing. Disappointing to say the least.

Great task & ambient lightAnonymous reviewerHad these on an IKEA kitchen before & found it very easy to install myself. This time, I got them installed by my electrician on a kitchen from another company, as I wanted them hard-wired, rather than on a remote control. The light intensity & colour temperature is very pleasant. It works well as task lighting while prepping and also as ambient light for dining if I switch the main ceiling lights off. I got them slotted into the panel at the bottom of the cupboard, so it's completely flush. Great advice from the IKEA sales person, who helped with all the different items I had to buy to put it together (transformers, connection cables, etc). Looks & feels very high quality, different from other Made-in-China style plastic ones I've come across.
Simple to fit and great additional lightingAnonymous reviewerWe needed extra light and these were simple to add. If you have a place to hide away tho box you need to run these off then they are a great solution. We have them on a shelf above a desk and under our kitchen cupboards.

Does what is says on the tinAnonymous reviewer£300+ plus to install on top and bottom of 6 kitchen cabinets above the sink. Several trips to Ikea as I had not done my research properly plus hindered by out of stock notifications. However now installed, all wires hidden and controlled by two remote controllers ( need smart Hub) all in all a great finish and great colour for us. My only gripe is a tad expensive when cupboards are not a standard size. Would I recommend. .. Yes ... but do homework first
