A simple design ruined by trying to be too cleverAnonymous reviewerI had an almost identical rack from another manufacturer which needed replacing, so I went for KVOT. It's a typical example how a very simple, efficient design can be ruined by trying to be too clever. The wires holding the plates upright aren't aligned but alternate instead, which means that instead of 1 cm width slot per plate you get only a few milimeters, which is daft and inconvenient and thicker rimmed plates just won't fit in. Presumably this was done so as to make the plates stand firmly upright, but the result is that you have to aim very carefully which isn't always easy, particularly when your hands are wet from washing up and you're in a hurry. Also, on the lower rack you can fit only the tiniest of mugs, the vast majority of standard-sized tea or coffee mugs (including the ones by IKEA) are simply too large. As disappointing as it is hilarious.2
OkayAnonymous reviewerOkay that it works as a dish drainer for everything other than bowls. The bowls are from IKEA and don’t stay in place. Things do slip around but everything else is fine. 3
Not fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerMetal is noisy, slippery and takes water marks very quickly. Dishes and cups don’t sit securely on piece. This is not a great iteration of product.1
Too big for sink drainerAnonymous reviewerWhilst the capacity of this is huge, the fact that it doesn't fit on a standard sink drainer, overlapping in every direction, is disappointing.2
Looks GoodAnonymous reviewerVery stylish, works well5
KvotAnonymous reviewerNot much room to put bigger mugs on to dry and no where for cutlery2
Works as requiredAnonymous reviewerA trivet base on this would have been useful, as the previous dish drainer had. Otherwise, fine.4
Very useful, value for money, neatAnonymous reviewerVery useful, value for money, neat5
Fine, before the rust.Anonymous reviewerI love these drainers when they are new. Work great, good size, excellent value. But how do I stop them rusting? "Galvanised steel" hmm. Really? I get two years out of them before the rust. I wish Ikea would make a more expensive, simply better, version.3
Strong...Anonymous reviewerStrong and robust item - well made and good quality and value for money4
Drian traysAnonymous reviewerthey excellent best in the market price to worth every penny 5

A drying rack for pots that works.Anonymous reviewerA drying rack for pots that works. Very cheap and does what it should.5
Fixtures doesnt fitAnonymous reviewerOverall, ok to use so far, but the two prongs provided to fix the drainer in place do not fit. Very disappointing, especially as Ikea is known as the home for self-assembly. Please can you provide fixtures that fit! 1
Drying rack Anonymous reviewerIdeal for any kitchen. Nice and big for all utensils 5
drainerAnonymous reviewerA little too long for my sink, but it's okay3
Sturdy, solid and hugeAnonymous reviewerThis drying rack was so much larger than I was expecting, and it doesn't fit on my draining board. I didn't check the measurements very carefully before I purchased because I assumed a draining rack was a draining rack; my draining board isn't large but it's not tiny either, and I didn't think size would be an issue. I took a look at IKEA's other draining racks and most of them are massive too - not all of us have palatial kitchens, IKEA! I'm sad the rack doesn't fit, as it's very sturdy and well-made. If you have large draining board this would be perfect, but if your kitchen's on the smaller side then check the measurements before you buy.3
The galvanised dish drainerAnonymous reviewerThis is fab!5
You’ll get the hang of it.Anonymous reviewerI like that this rack doesn’t let anything touch the “ground” ever, however I did find it had a learning curve on how to place things without them tipping over. I’d say three months on I’m still learning, as at least once a week my plates will topple (still in the rack but just fall down on each other), not a major issue, but yes to be noted. Still, I really like it and use it, I wish they made something of a similar aesthetic for the cutlery.4
