Yes this works with home assistant Anonymous reviewerPlug it in, press reset and it will show automatically in home assistant. 5
Excellent value but one issueAnonymous reviewerBought 2 to control a) a 'granny' EV charger and b) a 1kW heater under Home Assistant control. Both paired easily and control as expected. However the one on the EV charger is reporting power usage at a tenth of actual ie it is a 2kW charger and unit shows steady 200W when in use. Not a major issue but will be returning for a swap when next in Southampton.4
Excellent Anonymous reviewerI’ve got quite a few of these paired up with ZHA, after updating them, they work great. Once they are back in stock, I’ll definitely be buying some more 5
Inspelning power monitoring plugs work great with Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTTAnonymous reviewerI love them, so easy to configure. I've bought 18 so far, will buy more5
Brilliant, good value smart plugsAnonymous reviewerI bought 5 of these to track power usage of various appliances in my flat. It's helped establish what's costing and enabled me to better time my energy usage (I can't get a smart meter) in line with my economy 7 energy tariff. Only negative is the "max 13a" is upside down as per the product picture 5
Works great with zigbee2mqttAnonymous reviewerNice little plug. They won't quite fit next to each other on compact power strip (earth 5.3mm apart)5
Excellent zigbee plugAnonymous reviewerExcellent smart plug for the money, the live energy monitor is excellent. Can be integrated with other zigbee hubs if needed.5
Decent smart plug, basic energy monitoring.Anonymous reviewerIt's basic in terms of monitoring energy in the IKEA app, you can see what's going on real time, but don't expect any kind of dashboard with historical readings. To be fair at £9 I can't complain, most other brands cost more, but you do get a little more like historical data. Go for the TRETAKT at £6 if you're not bothered about energy, that's a great smart plug for the price, it's exactly the same but without the energy reading. Personally, for £3 extra I like the instant energy readout even if it does need to be in the IKEA app. Maybe it'll get better over time as IKEA put new firmware out and make improvements to their smart home ecosystem. At present I'm not aware that any of the big smart home providers (Apple, Google, Amazon) have a framework to deal with energy readings so don't expect to be able to do that yet. Seems to work with Home Assistant, there are numerous energy related sensors, this is the way to go if you require more logging and data capture.5
Lacking Detail and featuresAnonymous reviewerI bought this plug as I was hoping for more energy related features, but it doesn't measure up to other similar devices out there. Firstly, the energy measuring is 'live' and 'total' only. There are no reports or decent data sets out of it. You can see whatis being used in real time, and you can see what's been used in total, which can be reset to zero. But that's it. The Live energy flow doesn't show up in the Home Smart dashboard, you have to go in to each separate device to see the energy information. So it's hidden down two or more clicks. The next feature missing is the fact that this data doesn't show up when viewing in the google home app. I have a very big setup and use a lot of automations due to disability. I wanted to create an automation (or scene) that said when the device has no (or negligible) energy draw, to turn off the plug. This seems to be exactly what it would be made for. I want to use this to automate a safe shut off for a wheelchair battery charger. 2
