If your local store is closed, unfortunately we're not able to give you a refund at the moment. When our stores have reopened, we will be happy to give you a full refund by the same method as your original payment for products that are returned with proof of purchase in new, unused and re-saleable condition and with the packaging.

The CollectPlus service is only available for purchases made online. For the return of articles purchased in store, please visit your local store along with your receipt and the article(s) you wish to return. Whilst every effort will be made to process refunds as soon as possible and within the timelines outlined by your statutory rights, during this challenging time there may be instances where our refund process will take longer than usual. Once your refund has been processed you will receive an email confirmation.
We thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are unable to offer refunds or exchange for custom made worktops, food or drinks. Unless faulty, we may refuse the return or only offer a refund card if the returns criteria are not fully met. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Your new mattress in 90 days
It takes time for you and your new mattress to get used to each other. That's why we give you 90 days to be sure you're compatible. If the chemistry isn't right, simply come back and choose another mattress. When you've found your perfect match, you can sleep easy for years to come with our free 25-year guarantee.
Love it or exchange it Terms and Conditions
It is important to us that you love your new mattress. So if after a while you discover that it is too firm, too soft or too something else just bring the mattress back and simply change it for another.
You may exchange your mattress once within 90 days if you don’t love it, provided that it is not dirty, marked or damaged. Simply take your mattress back to the IKEA store with your receipt and we will help you find one that suits you better.
Please note that initially, your new mattress can seem a bit too firm. Allow at least one month for your body to get used to the mattress and for the mattress to get used to your body. To get the best comfort you also need the right pillow. Make sure you have a pillow that suits you and your new mattress.
If you would like to upgrade your mattress, all we ask is that you pay the difference between the original purchase price and the price of the replacement chosen. If the replacement mattress is lower in price, we will credit the difference to an IKEA refund card for you to use towards a future purchase.
If you had your mattress delivered via our Home Delivery Service the collection and delivery of the replacement mattress will be free-of-charge.
The “Try it at home for 90 days” return policy is valid on all new mattresses, but does not apply to SULTAN bed bases, bed slats and mattress pads.

How to return

Cancellation or return of orders made online
You can cancel your whole order up until 14 days after the delivery date and we will provide you with a full refund (including the basic delivery charge).
If the article(s) you are returning were purchased online and have a total weight of less than 10kg and can fit in a parcel of 60x50x50cm or less, it should be returned for free using CollectPlus. You can return at your convenience to over 7000 locations. Please be advised that your refund will be processed once the article(s) have been received by IKEA. The CollectPlus service is only available for purchases made online. If you decide to cancel an order that has been delivered and would like us to collect part of, or the whole order, you may be eligible for a collection charge of £25. Where possible, this will be deducted from the refund due to you.
How to cancel*
Orders that have not yet been dispatched can be cancelled from our Manage & track my order page. If your order has been dispatched you can let us know you want to cancel using our Contact Us page to call or write to us.
Letting us know as soon as you can will help us process your request quickly and easily, but don’t worry, we can still cancel your order up to 14 days after it has been delivered.
When contacting us please have your order number ready so we can help you quickly and remember to clearly state which product(s) you would like to cancel or return if you choose to write or email.
Returning your delivered items*
If you have already received your order, any items need to be returned to IKEA in full and in resalable condition before the refund is made. We also ask that you return the original packaging
You can return the whole or part of your order to any IKEA Store or Order and Collection Point. Please take your Order Confirmation email, delivery receipt and the payment card with which you paid for the product(s).
Collection of items *
If you need IKEA to collect your order, you can arrange this from our Contact Us page. Please have your order number available. You will be eligible for a collection charge of £25 unless the product is faulty or not as described, in which case IKEA will cover the cost of return. Where a collection charge is applied, this will be deducted from the refund due to you.
Collection of the product(s) will only take place from the delivery address to which they were delivered.
