Product details
With this day-bed you quickly and easily create space for overnight guests. Just pull out the bed base and you get a double bed in no time.
With some soft, fluffy pillows as back support, you easily transform this day-bed into a comfortable sofa.
The large drawers have space for extra duvets, pillows, linens or other things you need to store, but want to have close at hand.
The high frame creates a cosy cocoon feeling, and is lacquered so that it's easy to maintain.

The daybed must be combined with two mattresses, 80x200. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.

The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

I am going to call Ikea today. To see what can be done.

Day-bedAnonymous reviewerThe bed feels sturdy and comfortable when built correctly. We use it as a king size bed every night and have not experienced any issues at all. We found buying a good mattress and using a mattress topper helped to mitigate the space between the single matress. The only issue was squeaking from slats on the right side. We replaced the black palstic studs with screws on the right side (free from ikea). Now the bed is squeak free and feels pretty solid. It also makes a comfy sofa, but you will need cushions to make it more comfortable. Over all, I would recommend this bed and if the instructions are followed correctly plus with some minor adjustments you'll have sturdy bed or sofa.

So good had to buy a second! Anonymous reviewerWe’re 6 months in and we absolutely love this bed, bought for our spare room but so practical, sturdy and comfy we bought a second for our main bedroom. Great design, clear instructions, easy to put together. Looks nice too, allows different sleeping combinations and can sleep either way.
