Looks good, works as expectedAnonymous reviewerThe best part is the satisfaction you feel when you can finally put the shelf in after spending ages installing the posts and brackets. As someone else said in a review, you need to buy the brackets separately. My tip would be to only use the first half of the little plastic screws to fix the shelf in place and not the pin that goes into them: If you change your mind about the position of the shelf, the pins are extremely difficult to remove, and might even break and then the shelf is stuck and you need to fiddle with knives and tweezers to free it, leaving scratches. Guess how I found that out.5

Good shelf, but not clear that bracket isn't included!Anonymous reviewerI wanted to add some more shelfs to our existing built unit. Purchased 4 of these which is great and I know is a good product. But unlike many of the other components which warn you that you need to buy something else to complete it (like the drawers), this one does not tell you the brackets are purchased separately... no warning or anything. I would assume a shelf would come with its attachments, and now I cannot get the brackets delivered. Good product, but be aware you need to buy the brackets too...3
Great product but missing key componentsAnonymous reviewerLove the product but on installation discovered you can only use a very particular type of screw. Which doesn't come included. I spent days searching in places like Screwfix and Homebase for something suitable. Just throw in some screws and charge me a bit extra!!! In the end I had to go back to IKEA and buy a huge box of screws I'll never use.3

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong.
