Care
Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Attractive Design, Disappointing QualityAnonymous reviewerI purchased the ALEX 36x70 cm drawer unit to complete my desk setup, and I must say that, at first glance, I love its design. The clean, minimalist style is perfect for a modern office space and blends in very well with the decor. It is undeniably good-looking, and the depth of the drawers offers excellent storage potential.
Unfortunately, my enthusiasm faded after assembly. The quality of the fit for the drawers is very poor. Despite following the instructions precisely, the drawers do not align properly with each other.
Visually, the result is quite ugly and frustrating. Some drawers stick out on one side, others are recessed on the opposite side, creating a very noticeable "zig-zag" effect that completely ruins the clean aesthetic it should have.
Pros: Modern design, good internal storage capacity.
Cons: Serious drawer alignment problem (what disappointed me the most), negatively affects the visual appearance.
Great little basicAnonymous reviewerThese are easy to put together and so useful - I've bought three to make a 3m long desk - just putting a long piece of oak worktop on the top. Great value, and an IKEA classic.
Good quality set of drawersAnonymous reviewerThis is a good small set of drawers. Solid & very easy to put together. Fits perfectly where I wanted it to go. When I put it in my basket online, it suggested the Kuggis insert, but be aware it's too big for this set of drawers, I think it's more for the large drawer of the Alex desk perhaps. There is an Alex insert but I bought the Raggisar insert, which fits perfectly width wise but is shorter than the drawer length, but the drawers don't open to their full length so it would be difficult to reach things in the compartments at the back. With the Raggisar insert, you can slide it forward to reach. I'm really pleased with these drawers.

Different shades between the rangeAnonymous reviewerWe bought this for the desk together with Alex cabinet for the other side of the desk. They have diffrent shades!! Cabiten us actually white stained and this is more yellowish oak. They both look nice separately but next to each other, useless. How you can have same ranche but different finish is beyond me ?? Btw, they both called white stained oak, just came to the website to double check, but one is more white/ grayish where the other one more browny yellow. So disappointed. Also, we bought 3 x 5 Alex drawers units cause the two others where suppose to go on the side in the office but all 3 have the same yellowish finish

Very easy to build 'upside down' which requires a rebuildAnonymous reviewerGreat drawers, but if you don't pay attention to the gaps on the rails, you can very easily build (2!) of these units upside down.
More annoying, the top and bottom drawer will still fit, so you don't realise you've made a mistake until you try to add the middle ones in.
The only way to rectify is to completely dismantle the main box.
So - pay attention and make sure you put the smaller gaps towards the 'top' of your unit as you build it, as there is nothing to warn you.
Other than that, love these units. Look great, hold stuff. Can't ask for more.

Survey says, “EH Ehh” - 5/10Anonymous reviewerDefinitely not useful for bulk paperwork, trash attachment to desk tops if you’re using basic legs. The one I had was built weird? So the wheel placement was on the same side as the holes for the table to secure on so I was never able to have castor wheels.
Maybe they have changed it in 2025 but I’d rather the 67x66cm ALEX drawers as it gives enough space for drawer dividers!

Good handsome and sturdy drawers Anonymous reviewerThis is the second set of Alex drawers and just as good as the first set! Easy to assemble and a good gliding motion to the drawers. Very handsome with the matching worktop and legs.
Good drawersAnonymous reviewerThere does the job, they do look ‘very Ikea’ which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The cost is higher than some online equivalents and they heavy! But over all a nice product.
