Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Great product, poor delivery serviceAnonymous reviewerI ordered an Alex drawer unit to complete my desk setup and paid £50.00 for next day delivery. When it did not arrive, I contacted customer support and was told it would not be delivered that day, and that the £50.00 delivery charge would be refunded once the item arrived. Although the unit eventually turned up a week later, I have still not received the refund. Very disappointing

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding a recent delivery.
I placed an order on 30 March for three heavy items and paid £35 for delivery, scheduled for 7 April between 7am and 7pm. At approximately 5:30pm, the delivery driver called me, and I clearly asked for the items to be left at my door at 35A.
However, the items were delivered to my neighbour’s address instead (35 Netherlee Road). As a result, when I returned home, I had to move all the heavy boxes myself.
This was particularly difficult as I have a disability, and I specifically paid for delivery to avoid this situation.
I am very disappointed with this service and would like to request appropriate compensation,including a refund of the delivery fee.
I would appreciate your prompt response to this matter.

Nice design but poor quality and damaged on arrivalAnonymous reviewerI bought two of these units to create my own vanity setup. The unit looks really nice once assembled, but there were a few issues. Both arrived with some damage in certain areas, and the wood is quite fragile and chips very easily, which was disappointing. I also found the screws for the rail confusing to use, and one got stuck during assembly, making the process frustrating. Aside from those issues, it does look nice once put together, but I don’t feel it’s worth £70 each
Looks really good - drawers don’t pull out enoughAnonymous reviewerThe chest of drawers is great - just what i needed and looks really smart. Though it’s contemporary styling, it looks great with other furniture as it is smart and understated (I like the fact it’s got a sheen not shiny).
One very big negative and was tempted to keep it to only two stars. The drawers only pull out 2/3 of the way. This means that 15cm at the back of all drawers is inaccessible, really awkward to get to. Such a waste of space and already driving me nuts. I wanted shallow drawers, but this makes it even worse to get to the back of the drawer. Come on Ikea, this is not your usual standard of design.

Low quality drawers railsAnonymous reviewerUnfortunately, the drawer system is not performing as expected. The runners feel excessively stiff and do not operate smoothly, making it difficult to open and close the drawers. This significantly affects the usability of the unit and does not reflect the quality I would expect from IKEA.
I have carefully assembled the product following the instructions provided, and I have checked the alignment and fittings to ensure everything is installed correctly. Despite this, the issue persists.
Given that this is a new product £70 not cheap, I would expect the drawers to operate smoothly and effortlessly. At present, they feel tight, inconsistent, and not fit for proper daily use.

Damage to one side of these drawersAnonymous reviewerWe bought two of these in the Exeter store on Thursday and after clearing my sewing room and repainting, hubby is putting together the Lagkapten/alex drawers and table top. Unfortunately one of the sides of the Alex drawers is damaged. I’m finding it difficult to get through to the store and we are not prepared to drive all the way back to Exeter. Fortunately we can hide this damage by positioning it against another wall, but the frustration!

…the only drawback….Anonymous reviewerThis is a great unit but the only drawback is the picture instructions which I’m normally ok with, make sure you don’t get the top and the bottom mixed up because they look pretty identical! All good otherwise
