When should you switch to a toddler bed?

Making the transition from a cot to a toddler bed usually happens around 18 months, when your little one starts outgrowing their cot or attempting to climb out. Choose a bed that’s comfortable, safe, and allows your child to grow at their own pace.

When to move from a toddler bed to a big kid’s bed?

This usually occurs around age 4 or 5. If your child is ready for a bigger bed, options like low bed frames with safety rails and built-in storage can help ease the transition.

Our toddler beds come in two convenient sizes: 80x200 cm for a bit more room to grow and 70x160 cm, perfect for smaller spaces. Both sizes offer a cosy, safe sleep space for your little one as they transition to their first big bed.

For safety, ensure there is a safe gap between the bed and the wall to prevent injury. High beds and upper bunks or loft beds are not suitable for children under 6 years due to fall risks. Avoid adding hooks, handles, ropes, or belts to the bed that could pose a danger during play.
