Can I return unused product without a receipt?
You will need to provide some form of proof of purchase to return a product, however it doesn't have to be your original receipt.
Proof of purchase can be something else than the original receipt, which still provides the information about your purchase: date and time of the purchase and the amount spent for the purchase. If you made you order while signed in to your IKEA Family account or scanned your IKEA Family card while making the purchase in store, you are able to find the receipt from your Purchase history.
Our customer service and the exchange and return point in store will be happy to help you find the receipt if necessary. If we cannot find a receipt in our system, we will refund the price of the unused product to the IKEA compensation card. In this case, the refund is the lowest price of the product for the past year.
