Can I return a product to an IKEA store?

Whether you have bought an item online or from a store, you can return it to any IKEA store in Finland.

You can return IKEA products you have bought from Finnish stores or online stores to all IKEA stores in Finland. Returns can be made at the customer service desk, which is located near the exit of the store past the checkouts. Bring the product you want to return and the proof of purchase.
To speed up the return process, you can use the Express Return option:
  1. Pre-register your return with the return form.
  2. Enter your receipt or order number. You'll need your proof of purchase to register your return. As an IKEA Family member, it's easiest to find it in your purchase history.
  3. Select the products you want to return and the reason for the return. A maximum of 10 products can be returned with Express returns at a time.
  4. Fill in all other information on the form and submit it.
  5. You will receive a barcode. It will be sent via email and SMS.
  6. Return the products to an IKEA store within 14 days of filling out the form, remember to bring both the barcode and the products you want to return.
If you do not fill in the return form in advance, please bring your proof of purchase with you to the store.
