Not compatible with 40cm wide doors in the corner!ThorstenIf you follow the instructions to use this bracket to make a normal cabinet into a corner cabinet, you run the risk of a situation like I encountered, where the opened (40cm wide) door of the modified cabinet hits the door of the other cabinet that makes the corner. This kit only really works with the 30cm or narrower doors, unless you pull the modified cabinet farther out of the corner than the instructions call for. This wastes even more space, and might not even be possible if you don?t have extra room. The Metod kitchen planner system did not prevent or warn regarding this issue. That aside, using this kit requires you to buy and precisely cut 2 pieces of side panel to make filler pieces and side cover for the 2 cabinets that make up the corner. It's a lot of work, and not easy to do well. I would just stay away from this type of corner alltogether, and use the 45° corner cabinet instead.1
