Looks great but durability of finish is all over the placeAnlinaWe redid our kitchen a couple of years ago and while most of our cabinet fronts still look great, three of them have developed random chips that really don't correspond to areas of high contact, and another one started chipping basically from day one and looks like absolute trash. Just covered in chips, even though it's not the highest use cabinet. I'm hoping that exchanging these under warranty is easy and painless. If so then the inconvenience of bringing them back and having to mount new ones probably balances out with how good these look for the price, unless I have to do this every two years for the next 25 years. If you're not on a tight budget go with a different front, but these really do look great if the batch you get has a good finish. 21 of our cabinet and drawer fronts still look perfect, but four out of 25 with quality control issues isn't great.3

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
