Low QualityKristopherAccidentally set it back on a hot stove after pouring out the water, and the metal almost instantly burned. Now all water boiled in it tastes like burnt metal. IKEA won't accept the return, my bad for not trying it until it was past 90 days I guess.

Cheap and uselessBetheI bought this kettle to find that the whistle cap blows off of the kettle when the water boils. I tried to return the kettle but was told I had missed the deadline to return the item. ( I don’t get into the city often.) I continue to use the kettle but since it no longer whistles, I don’t know for sure when it has boiled. I’ve received a number of steam burns trying to check. This is really something that quickly goes from the store into a landfill. This product should be discontinued.
