You never have to change a light bulb as this lamp has LED light sources built right into it.

Using LED as a light source means that it not only lasts 20 times longer than an incandescent bulb, but consumes up to 85% less energy.

Wish it was dimmableChristieI came back to the IKEA site to see if it's dimmable because I find it too bright in the evening. I was surprised to read it's 2700K because it's cooler than all of my 2700K in the livingroom. I would guess it's 3000K.3
Beautiful warm glowDanThis ring emits a nice warm white glow. It is surprisingly a cast metal material ( not plastic) and had a wonderfully simple mounting system. The only issues I have with it is the lack of dimming feature and the bulky design of the transformer plug. I realize it was probably designed so that two plugs could fit in an outlet, but it sticks out so much that it cannot fit behind a piece of furniture without requiring a huge gap.4
