Serves its purposeSharieI got this, along with the longer version, to make an extended shelf to set my mugs on in my kitchen cabinet. It frees up more cabinet space and makes items more accessible. A bit wobbly, but once things are set on it, it's fine. I like you can freely extend the shelf after it's assembled. Some may not like this aspect, but I like that flexibility. I wish there were shorter versions of this, though. I had to move my shelf down one notch in order to fit some taller mugs on top of this insert. A version that is maybe an inch shorter would've been perfect. I get what other reviewers are saying about the small screws. They were a little annoying to work with at times, but the size of the screws are appropriate for the size of item. Bigger ones just wouldn't work nor look good. It would be like complaining that eyeglasses screws should be bigger. 4

Not up to usual IKEA standardsGailWhat a nightmare trying to screw the legs on. Seems that holes do not align well. Should be very easy based on design but it isn’t. Shelf wobbly too. I have built a lot of IKEA furniture, have never had an issue til now.2
