Gen 2 GreatRobertMy go to unit. I bought 2 Gen 2 for the stereo thing. Too fiddley to do stereo, so I use the second one at another location. I stretch two elastics across the top of the handle close to the speaker and use it to secure my phone underneath. I like the unit, and the batteries are reasonably priced.4
4/5KostiantynSo, first I admired its minimalistic look at the store. Gave it a try and it appeared that the sound is also fantastic. 80CAD is a fair price (wish it came with a battery, will have to get one later). There is really a decent amount of base to fill the room and create an atmosphere. Even on low volume listening to chillout or Lo-Fi is a pleasure. BUT: There is white noice and it's clearly audiable. I mean during day time at moderate volumes you just don't hear it, but at night (this thing has a 20-minute timer bty) you just can't stop hearing hsssssss.
Looks great, sounds rich, wish the batt was included, annoying hssssss at low "bedside" volumes.4
Bass and TrebleAnonymous reviewerI cannot access the bass and treble adjustment. It says to hold down knob until red light flashes three times, but this does not happen. Instead the speaker logs out of blue tooth connection?
Would sure like to know why this is happening?

Good sound, terrible practicalityJennyThe sound is good, but its limited to a short power cord..... the battery costs extra above and beyond the price of this simple devices already high price tag. I probably would have bought one for the same price online that included a battery if I had noticed this detail. Overall it's cute, but any other Bluetooth speaker would do the same for much cheaper. 3
Nice looking, good sound, Spotify tapback is annoyingJoyceI have had this speaker for about six months, got it right after it was released. Waited for it because I read so many good things about the 2nd Gen sound quality. I really like the look of the unit but there are some pretty significant cons considering the price. 1. The battery unit is going to add another $30 to the cost. 2. Battery lasts only about an afternoon, don't forget to power it off when you stop listening or you'll have to recharge. 3. The sound quality is OK. It's not sounding like something twice the price, maybe if you had two units and ran it in stereo. It's just OK, considering the price. 4. The Spotify tapback feature: I wish I had realized how annoying that would be. I don't use that app for all music and it's annoying to have the unit open it every time. 5. And finally, maybe it's just me but I have trouble getting it to pair with certain bluetooth units like my turntable.3
Awesome!MichaelSounds and looks great!5
Sounds better than I expectedChristopherThere is a clarity and warmth to the sound that I was not expecting. The bass is well controlled and there's a subtle sparkle to the highs that are pleasant and not shrill. I was disappointed that there were no grill covers or batteries in stock when I purchased.4
