Better designed than TosteroDebashisGood value for money: compared to hard plastic deck storage box from big box stores.
Good Quality (note: just bought, so no idea how durable): better designed than Tostero the fabric of which ripped during installation. Plastic end pieces of this are more rounded, less sharp edged and fabric quality is better (may be more water repellent, but no experience). Plus this has wheels on one side, and provision for securing to floor (Tostero has neither) which are practical.
Appears as in the picture when installed.
Ease of assembly: Not very easy. IKEA - please consider adding video instructions.
Installation suggestion:
In step 7, do not attach 4 top Velcro loops as shown. This will help in step 10. Attach cross bars in step 10 at an angle, then straighten. Attach top 4 Velcro loops after step 10. Keep open Velcro loops and zipper-strings from entanglement between metal rods and fabric - annoying if they get caught.4
It literally hurt to put this together...JaneBased on raving reviews, I decided to purchase this also with the belief that it would be easy to put together. I must have got a sour lemon. If I weren't fit and flexible, I would not have stood a chance but nevertheless, I almost hurt myself putting this junk together. I followed the instructions, had all the different lengths set aside in rows and in order of use, but when it came down to inserting the longest click rods, which is towards the end, it was as if the material component had been sewn a few millimeters. I have assembled a fair deal of Ikea furniture but nothing has been more dangerous and backbreaking as this. I should have just packed it back up and returned it rather than go through what I went through to put this together. Ridiculous and dangerous. Should be a "risk of harm" label on the box. Also, it looks all wrinkled = ugly. I am just guessing I got unlucky with a badly sewn box.1
Efficient Outdoor Garden StorageNghiaThis storage is a great product. It can contain a lot more garden stuffs than other rigid counterparts. Thanks to its relatively flexible and extensible material, you can "force" slightly bigger and/or larger items can be put into its space. Its material seem to be quite sturdy, and fully waterproof. Time will tell ! However, I am sure that it can withstand heavy rains and winds. I am not so sure though about snow and low temperature in the winter.
On the other hand, the installation instructions can and should be improved significantly to help the DIY customers from frustrations of difficulties of putting rigid rods inside the flexible box.
The price is good, and it is a real space saver.
Highly recomended. 4
Lightweight and stylish UrsulaGreat storage for outdoor pillows and cushions. Looks good on the deck and keeps contents clean and dry 5
Cushion storage CarolA Little tight to put in the rods to hold it in place, but overall quite happy with it, will wait until end of summer to assess how it holds out with our crazy weather pattern. 4
