Used to be betterAnonymousI really liked these dishes. But one broke, so I went to Ikea to purchase a new one. The quality has diminished. The new dish is visibly different to the old dishes, even though they're being sold under the same name. The new dishes are not as dense - not as thick. That's what I like about them. They weren't too thin. And the olds were 'Made in Turkey'. The new ones are 'Made in Thailand'.2

Material

Good at resisting knocks

Feldspar porcelain resists knocks and impact better than most other ceramics. That's why products in feldspar porcelain can be made thinner than those in stoneware or earthenware. This means that they are both light, hardwearing and dishwasher-safe. A useful combination.
