    Noisy fridge Anonymous reviewerWhen it was first delivered to me the freezer door was dented, and the whole unit had to be replaced. It's now been about two years since I've had the fridge. When I open then close the door, the compressor or fan or something makes a grumbly unpleasant noise. It then repeats the same noise a few seconds later. It started doing this a few months after purchase. The noise situation is very frustrating to the point that I'm looking to replace the unit even though, otherwise, it tends to work fine. 2
    Water overflowing out of overflow basketAngelaWe have had several issues with the water overflowing out of the overflow basket at the back of the fridge. We were told to leave more space between the wall and the fridge and it’s still completely filling the overflow basket and causing water leaks on our wood floors. The warm coils are supposed to help evaporate the water but it’s not working as we have had to unscrew and empty both the water basket and the overflow basket multiple times. Pretty sad when you have to babysit your fridge and add “check water basket” on your list before you leave on vacation. Disappointed because otherwise we did like this fridge. 2
    Nice at first but gets noisy after only 1,5 yearsLucasGirlfriend and I are tall so for us its a major advantage to have freezer in the bottom part of the fridge. We were awaiting the fridge with eagerness, as it was the first time i bought a fridge new. First fridge's door arrived dented, ikea sent another one promptly that had a notch too in the front door. We were fed up so we kept it with the dent. Now after about 18months, compressor has become noisy, it makes weird noise sometimes. Also, when fridge is only a third full, it freeze some of the veggie in the drawers compartment. we tried adjusting it to no avail Finally after 18 month of uses, little wheels on the freezer drawer are riping off. they seem very poorly made considering the weight on them. Considering this fridge is made in china i wonder how it can arrive without a dent in. I aslo have concerns about its quality and how it will age over time. 1
    Door seal compromised, Missing partJoannaRefrigerator arrived with a leg missing on the front. Did receive one shortly after reaching out to supplier. (Not much help from Ikea Customer Service but they did do something for my troubles. Now after just a year, the seal at the top corner of the door does not quite touch the frame. I would not recommend this product.1
    Functional and beautifulMelissaFridge looks very high end and its slightly slimmer dimensions fit my smaller condo kitchen. It's quiet, holds appropriate temperature well, good lighting, and both fridge and freezer have ample storage space. Would have liked a drawer for meats/cheeses, a temperature display (I bought a cheap thermometer) and individual humidity controls for the veggie/fruit drawers. Ikea Canada won't remove your old fridge so be prepared for that. Comes with 5 year warranty. Don't understand reviews complaining about beeping: if fridge door is left open, it beeps. I appreciate this feature and you can easily override it by hitting a button the top panel (or closing the door). There are a lot of junky appliances on the market right now and the quality of this fridge impressed me. Overall, in terms of value for price, this deserves 5 stars. Got it on sale which was an added bonus.5

    Unrealiable productAnonymous reviewerI had an incredibly frustrating experience with Whirlpool Canada, the supposed "number one supplier of major home appliances." Despite their claims and impressive presentation, I'm deeply disappointed and financially burdened. I bought a Whirlpool fridge from Ikea, expecting reliability. However, it's been a nightmare, freezing my food and wasting money. The fridge consistently malfunctions, making my purchases inedible, and resulting in frequent grocery trips and expenses. I contacted Whirlpool Canada's customer service, hoping for a solution. Technicians replaced the compressor three times, but it hasn't fixed the issue. Their repeated failures are mind-boggling. Whirlpool Canada, with over $700 million in revenues, should be ashamed. This has caused inconvenience and financial losses. Their claims of superiority are empty words, as their actions speak differently. I warn anyone considering Whirlpool appliances to think twice.1
    I wanted the door toRitaI wanted the door to open on the other side but the delivery men were not from Ikea and would not do it for me. Also, the delivery men wanted to leave the fridge on the front lawn and I insisted that they take it out of the box on the lawn so that it would fit through the door. They did not know how to take the door off. But, aside from that, the refrigerator is terrific and I'm very happy about it.5

Rail pour les tenir : cassé (après 2 mois d'utilisation) Rouille sur la façade de la porte du congélateur. En moins de 3 ans d'utilisation, le frigo est très dégradé alors que son usage est normal.     Freezer tray roller failAnonymous reviewerWorks very well at keeping temperature cool, on medium we lost no food! Whirlpool at its best. Quiet but the compressor has developed a humm though still very quiet. However recently the freezer tray rollers started failing, 9 months. Cracking presumably cold, also a poor design as the upper tray keeps sinking prior to the roller realigning with the groove. I am sure they will resolve it under warranty but I did not want to deal with this at the 9 month mark.1
    My only problem is theDianeMy only problem is the fridge door is not closing completely on its own, we have to push hard to ensure that will close . Also one of the drawers in the fridge seem to come off the rollers when you pull out fast and is hard to get it back on. Any recommendations what I can do??? Thks4
