Solid & SturdyMaiaAbsurdly well made for the price. Nice smooth finish on the desktop doesn't mark. The coating on the metal also won't scratch. The shelf for cords/power bars is bigger than it looks. I fit all my cords and a 2nd power bar in there. The headphone hooks can technically fit on any side of the desk, inside or facing outward, and can be slid around after mounting. The upper shelf is slightly less wide than the lower desk which means you're less likely to knock into your monitor as you pass by. The desk is wide and deep enough for two work stations with two chairs side by side if you're small. There is extra reinforcement in the corners and at the back of the upper shelf. I didn't use the straps (they're stupid) but the extra metal bar that they're supposed to hang from is great for hanging bags and other cords. It was fairly easy to put together so long as you pay attention to the instructions. Make your life easier and get a 13mm socket wrench for the bolts that attach the legs.5

Best Choice for Multipurpose Computer DeskSangchulI recently bought 'utvisning' desk from IKEA that's been incredibly satisfying. The finish is excellent, and it's very sturdy—even with a monitor arm installed on the small shelf, it holds firm. The adjustable height is another plus; I usually set it at 74cm.
I was initially nervous about assembly due to other reviews, but I found it straightforward with a few tips. First, the small ledge on the second floor makes it tricky to assemble on the floor, so using a separate table is easier.
Second, you'll need a cross screwdriver, as one isn't included. Third, do steps 9 and 15 of the assembly instructions together; if the frame is fixed in step 9, you can't insert parts from step 15 easily. Loosening the bolts helps with this.
Finally, in step 14, ensure to use a screwdriver for the legs and the two-tier tabletop to avoid gaps. I highly recommend this desk and plan to buy more, as my wife is interested too!5
