Cat scratching matSuzanneThis is a great replacement for stringed cat post. Just use the velcro to attach. If post is wider attach with an extra 2-3 inch piece of 2 sided Velcro. They stand up to larger cats picking.
Cats love them, great pricingJenniferBoth my cats and I are so happy they are back- was pretty sad when we couldn’t get these for a while there… We use it on the railing baluster at the top of the stairs. When we come in the door the cats want to do a “Yay you are home” stretch/scratch right away… easy way to provide a safe spot for that impulse. Change out when it gets ugly. Also use to easily revive their favourite old scratching posts downstairs - being cats, they won’t accept a new one, but will use it just fine when wrapped with an Utsadd.
Cats love it!NadineMy cats love this scratching "post"! it's around one of my dining room table legs and they use it daily. It does scrunch down on the leg, even if the velcro does hold tightly, but that doesn't bother the cats. I will be buying more!
My cat likes itAnonymousI wrapped it around my table leg and it fit great ( Jysk table I'm sorry, I was unfaithful, but it fits tables that are not Ikea as well). My cat went sauntering by, did a double take, watched over to sniff it and immediately scratched it. He's a larger cat and he pulled his back end across the floor gripping it and it held firm. I'm glad I bought 2 because he's going to use it.
