Instructions confusingRoxanaI followed the instructions and used the spacers and it was super annoying because the drawer was not rolling properly and kept getting stuck. I then read the reviews and realized others had the same issue of it being too tight. So I removed the spacers and now it rolls better. I have not tested yet in terms of weight. But I hope it works for what I need.

Had to fiddle with the installation, but not frustrating that it was a deterrent.
Don't like that the wheels are plastic, would have preferred metal. Sometimes, when pulling the basket out, it slips off the wheel. Perhaps the addition of a wheel in the centre would assist in this.

Hi, just purchased this product, installed it and found that as a previous review the basket is tight when you install the two shims, my answer to this is, use a #3 metric bit and remove just one of the small wheels, you will find there is a washer, remove it and reinstall the wheel et voila basket rolls freely.
Wire DrawerRobertI have had the previous version of these drawers and they worked well. this version however has the additional plastic spacers which if the directions are followed, make the drawer operation much too tight. Ikea needs to tweak their tolerances.
Nice idea, but doesn't hold weightAnonymous reviewerWe saw these online as a storage option for pots and pans, and really liked the idea... being able to see through to what's underneath and not having to worry about a regular drawer getting scuffed. There's literally a promo picture of these filled with pots after all, but sadly, these baskets can't handle much weight. We didn't even put that many pots and pans in and it sunk and became difficult to slide in and out. It's really too bad because we loved the idea of the basket. I'm not exactly surprised considering the cost. (You should take down the picture with the pots and advertise with something lighter like onions or a salad spinner or something.) If your company can make a version of the basket and sliding hardware that's sturdier and stronger, like a slightly more expensive Maximera version, we would definitely consider buying it.
What a pain... But now not so badAnonymousThey come with spacers with the brackets for the shelf - when installed as instructed - the drawers no longer fit your Ikea cabinets... No idea why they would have those spacers. I tried to install in a couple places before finally removing the spacer and it finally works as expected. Unbelievably frustrating. Brackets feel cheap in comparison to the inbedded drawer for cabinets - this is not a replacement for those.
Misleading/Wrong size not 24 or 61cmAnonymousAs others have noted and Ikea falsely replied. These shelves sizes are nominal sizes not actual. They are significantly smaller. The 24 shelf will fit a rough opening of 22 7/8 Likely fitting a cabinet box of 24 outside dimension. Be warned if you are not installing into a standard IKEA cabinet.

Great but... Not accurate widthAnonymous reviewerMy cupboard is 15 1/4 wide, this drawer says 15 it's not. It is 13 1/2 wide including the brackets. So now I need to get 7/8th spacers on either side in order to install it. HOWEVER, I do not have ikea cabinet... But regardless the measurements are incorrect on the 2 baskets I bought.
MisleadingAnonymousI was looking for a wire basked 18 width. WIDTH, okay? The site information says it's 18 width. Bought it. It's 16 assembled. HOW, IKEA, how? How can you give this wrong and misleading information? If it's FOR 18 inch cabinet, now that's correct. But it's NOT 18 inches wide.

great wire shelf basketGregBasket is easy to install, but designed for IKEA Cabinet sizes. I had to make spacers to fit in existing cabinet. Well worth the effort and 1/3 the cost of a Home Depot equivalent tat didn't fit either.
