Enjoy the super comfy UPPLAND armchair with embracing feel and deep seat cushion made of pocket springs, high resilience foam and polyester fibres, adding both firm support and relaxing softness.
Reversible back cushions provide soft support for your back and two different sides to wear. Thanks to the combination of polyester fibres and cut foam the cushions will retain their shape and comfort year after year.
Hakebo cover feels soft and smooth and has a nice texture that makes the armchair comfortable and inviting.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

Not as advertised. MichelleMy experience with the Uppland chair and sofa is quite the opposite to the description. You DO sit ON it. It's extremely firm. Not like the obviously well used one I sat on in the showroom. OK to sit on for short periods, but not for lounging on. The blue fabric not soft at all. Overall really disappointed.
So comfy!LisaBought the couch a year ago. First time ever purchasing furniture online without trying it in person. Was not disappointed! Super comfy and the covers are SO EASY to wash. Have kids and pets but even after a year of constant use and frequent washings it still looks and feels great. So happy with it that we just bought the chair to match. And it’s great too. The perfect place to curl up and read a book.

We wanted to replace our existing Ektorp chair but we’re disappointed in the Uppland model. The material didn’t seem to be as good quality as our EKTORP chair & sofa.
Uncomfortable despite appearanceShelleyI'm sad to say, while looking super comfortable and cozy online, the cushions are hard and stiff with little give. Super uncomfortable. Also, no matter how much I seem to steam the fabric it remains looking wrinkled, unkempt and cheap. The automatic review responder will apologize and repeat that if I am unhappy, I can return it. But its put together and in my house now and would be a royal pain to disassemble and return. So instead, Ill just stare ar it sadly as a reminder of why Not to order from IKEA online without seeing the product in person. Perhaps add a section of the description of firmness quotient so customers can decide for themselves if a sliding scale of cushion firmness is important to them.
Great chair for my reading corner!CarolFast and easy assembly. Love the washable slipcovers. Width of chair is actually 40 inches. You need to give the backrest cushion a good beating to make it sit snug into the cover and press it into the chair's curves, but it's really comfortable.
Wrong measurements on the online description AncaThe measurements of the chair on the website are wrong. Chair is 28 cm higher than described.
That makes him very high and unusable by average person.

The sitting cushion doesn't for properly in the cover. Way to high and because of this , the back cushion doesn't fit on the arms.

Nice big chairJoyI bought this chair because it had a straight back not semi reclined. It is a large chair and a deep chair. I would not recommend it to anyone without long legs. For my longer legs it is perfect. It is also perfect for crafters.

One change recommended DaveThis chair is big and very comfortable. My only complaint is that only one side of the seat cushion cover is in the overall fabric. The other side has a large square of different material in the middle. It would be so much more useful if you could turn the seat cushion over when one side gets soiled so you don’t have to wash it as often.

Looks, feels and is greatSharonSo happy with the addition of the uppland chair. This a good size, comfortable, fabric is of good sturdy quality. Colour matches our couch of 3 years old. Overall very happy.
