The design and quality are beautiful and aren't too heavy. The only thing I've noticed is the bowls picked up some stainless steel marks on the bottom of them, but I think this was my fault for stacking them in the sink on top of steel items. I hesitated to buy a large set just to get the bowls, but I think it's worth it since I'll have extra for when I inevitably break them. I do wish that Ikea would consider bringing back the larger coffee mugs as the teacups are quite small. 5

Great QualityMarkI like everything about this set. The only one concern I have is that the soup bowl and the dinner plate are quite large. I would’ve preferred to have one them smaller. We live in a super size me world when it comes to fast food, food at home should be more in line with serving sizes as recommended by nutritionist and registered dietitians. If you want to lose weight, part of it is to put your food on smaller plates it looks so much larger.5
Beautiful and simpleMelindaI really appreciated the feedback from the other reviewers when making my choice about which dishes to buy. I was really on the fence because of the reviewers who found them to chip easily and that the dishes marked easily from cutlery use. I’ve only owned them for about a month now, however, I have not found them to chip and our cutlery does not leave any marks on them. I wonder if it was perhaps the brand or type of cutlery that was causing the problem for the other reviewer. I love these because they are plain white, but have the scalloped edges to add interest without the addition of toxic paints. As another already wrote, they do indeed make your meals look more delicious! Thank you IKEA for wonderful service and safe products.5

The plates have a nice indent which frames your food nicely and holds sauce. The ridge edge give them a slightly "fancy" old school look. Great for dinner parties of everyday look.5
