Terrible graterAvinashThe design of this grater is terrible. Half the teeth are in one direction and the other half are in the opposite, which makes holding it safely very difficult. The teeth are also quite coarse, so instead of a smooth grate or zest, it gets caught on the food and a lot of force is required. Very poor design.

Handy Tool, But...AnonymousThis tiny grater is a handy tool to have in the kitchen, especially if you're grating something small, like ginger. However, you need to be super careful removing the plastic cover. The first thing I grated with this item was my finger, as I was removing the plastic covering!

Grater needs a handleChristineI use it to grate ginger and for the price does an ok job. However, it would be a lot more practical if it had a handle, and if the blades were all going in one direction instead of switching partway through. Finger hole is not better than a handle.
Perfect ZesterMeaghannThis is a fantastic zester, the teeth go in two different directions so that it catches and grates as you move your hand both ways. Very convenient and fast.

Design FlawCatheyI bought this grater on impulse because it's not uncommon for me to use 2-3 graters during a single meal preparation. What I don't like about this grater is that its grating side is divided into two grating surfaces, each of which grates in a different directions. I prefer a grating surface that flows in one direction, which allows for grating in a broad sweeping motion.
