It does its job, but..VanyaIts not matte. Ive also reviewed the fitted sheet from this line as well, and the pillows are no different. Translucently able to see the pillow itself, and its not as pink as the photos (in my opinion) other than that, its alrighr. But I'll more than likely be purchasing a different more pink pillow case3
