HUGE sheets - HUGEConnieThese are the strangest sheets. My mattress is 14.5" and these sheets fit up to 15", yet they are WAY TOO BIG. These sheets could easily fit a king size (I bought queen). It's awful. They are big and frumpy and messy looking. Too bad because the price and material are great. IKEA pls fix your sizing. It's WAY off.1

Collects dustJessicaThese are very strange sheets. I thought at first my child's room must be very dusty, but after multiple washes I cannot get the lint and dust and pet fur to stop adhering all over the sheets. They're barely used and I hate discarding fabric of any kind, but I think we are going to have to throw these out. 1

Doesn't fit twin size mattress AnonymousWe have an ikea twin size mattress (haugsvar) which is 11inches and these sheets don't really fit properly. They fit up to 15inches but on our mattress they are much too loose, wrinkled, and sloppy looking. Otherwise they feel soft after the first wash. I'll likely return the purchase since I hate the look and feel of wrinkled sheets.3

Not happy with these sheetsKellyThe sheets feel rough and are extremely wrinkled after washing and drying. We had old IKEA sheets in navy blue that were great. They were 100% cotton so I’m wondering if this addition of 15% Lyocell is part of the issue? They are so wrinkled, they look and feel terrible. I’m very unhappy with the purchase, and we bought two sets and washed and dried them already. I’m really hoping they will soften over time. The samples in store felt softer so I didn’t hesitate to wash these and start using them. I wish I’d only opened one set so we could return the others. We got a set of the Ronnveckmal and those feel better/softer (more like our old ones) and like they will soften more with use. Those ones didn’t come in the navy so we got the Ullvide. All the good reviews had me thinking these would be decent, but maybe some colours are not as bad, who knows. 1

The samples I felt, on display at IKEA, were soft to the touch (perhaps they had been washed 1000 times!).
I washed the sheets I bought before putting them on the bed. I ran them through the laundry twice, and the sheets still felt rough. Not soft.
Also, when taking the sheets out of the dryer, (I took them out as soon as the dryer stopped moving), the sheets were incredibly wrinkled. Not just a little wrinkled but crazy deep creases. I had to iron all the sheets in order to make them presentable. With my iron on the hottest setting, and steam, I was not able to get the wrinkles out of these sheets. The only good thing I can say about these fitted sheets is that they fit the IKEA mattresses well. 1

Fits bigJacquelineWe had to replace our old IKEA sheet which fit our queen mattress perfectly. This new one is very generous in its sizing and looks baggy on the bed. However, it is soft and just the right colour. 4
