Machine wash warm, normal cycle.
Turn the cover inside out and zip up before washing.
To be washed separately.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron medium temperature, max 300°F/150°C.

This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 15,000 cycles, which is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Poor fitment - loose materialMichaelThis fits poorly. As confirmed even by IKEA's own
"3D images". The inner tub has loose material when I installed it on my few year old TULLSTA chair. I had assumed IKEA would make a better fitting cover and/or not change dimensions on their chairs. Either way, a loose fitting chair cover or upholstery looks poor or like student housing - not very nice for a well decorated home.
Based on the reviews, some people do complain about the looser fitment and others must be okay with it, but its not a nice look.

The plaid shades of lovely roses and minty greens on beige background did well against fading and normal life usage.
