Ratings and reviews
Great work desk, we have 3 of them nowJenniferWe now have 3 of these sit/stand desks for our various work/gaming setups in our house and they are great. Easy to put together and looks really nice. Raising and lowering the desk is simple and quick. The desk is sturdy and doesn't wobble much while raising/lowering too - I leave my glass of water on and it doesn't tip over!
Handle broke apart within one weekJingxuanA decent desk but the handle breaks in one week. I didn't use excess strength and assembled everything according to the instructions, so that's truly diappointing. I read others' reviews and knew the handle is prone to fall apart, but didn't expect to happen so fast. Future buyers please be aware.
It is what it is. RoxannePurchased in May. Handle broke in July. Was pretty decent otherwise. I am not often disappointed with Ikea products, hardly ever actually. This one fell apart way too fast.
Trotten TableJuneVery sturdy I’m happy with it. The manual crank is easy to use
Easy to useRuizhengood to use, not bad
Video would helpLingActually had to watch 3 videos of other people on YouTube assembling the table to figure out that I had made a mistake on one of the steps. One actually provided a tip that helped with the part about how to insert the rod at the top. Would appreciate it if Ikea had an assembly video to go with this product.
Handle cap is detached after a monthRenrongThe cap of the handle is detached after a month. I have to put it back and hold it very carefully every time I use it. Extremely regretted it after learning that there are models with motors at the same price from other brands
Low-Quality ManufacturingEliaThis desk is somewhat poorly manufactured. The bolt-holes which attach the desk-top to the legs are too loose for the bolts which go through them - the whole top wobbles! (This is the same on both desk I bought.) Before that, I had to fix a different bolt-hole, because there was a stray bead of weld obscuring the threads. Tap the (delicate) threads after you weld, not before! Really seems like nobody at Ikea actually tried to assemble any of these desks when they were designing it, or there's some sloppy tolerances or careless manufacturing.

The crank is easy to use to raise and lower your desk.
Super sturdyAnonymous reviewerVery happy with this purchase - it goes nice and low which was a concern for me looking at similar bases. Raising and lowering it is very smooth.
