Doesn't function as expected MalloryAs long as you don't want to raise this higher than it's minimum height, this is probably a fine side table. Unfortunately, as soon as you try to raise the table up higher, even with the locking mechanism in the locked position, the slightest amount of pressure or weight will have the table top sliding back down, making it pretty non-functional. I will be returning this item.
