Ratings and reviews

poor quality controlAnonymousThis product has really poor finish. Out of 7 boxes I have only been able to assemble 2 that had a decent finish. The sides and back were always chipped. The front and back had small bubbles and the front panel that matters always looked like the sawdust wasn't removed before painting, especially around the notch. There was also often chips. I would not recommend the product unless they improve the finishing.1
perfect for storing spicesAnonymousexcellent drawer for open cabinets next to stove to store all my spices. Wish Ikea actually had enough inventory to purchase the cabinets though :-( Have to wait until spring 2019 according to the website to buy the right size cabinets :-(5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
