The brushed veneer gives each piece a unique look and a personal character.
You can easily hide cords by leading them between shelves and out the cable outlets on the underside of the bench.
Sliding doors do not take up any space when opened.
The integrated handle has clean lines and is an elegant detail that gives the furniture that little something extra.

As someone whose never built furniture before, it was doable alone and instructions were relatively easy to follow if you make sure you are looking at the correct piece - I'd say in total took me 2 full days
Door slides smoothly
Great piece for a 625 sq ft apartment
MY only caveat would be that I was really looking forward to fitting my DVD in there lol but the shelf isn't deep enough to do so without the inner door hitting it. Strongly advise going to the store to measure distance from the back of the shelf to the inner door if you plan on putting a larger item inside.
Wasn't able to carry the pieces myself even to load the car, but a guy helped me out and was able to carry both boxes himself. So it is a heavy package.
