TONSTAD - amazing dresserKodeeBought this despite the interesting reviews because we have a specific space that we needed this to fit and its perfect. Drawers are soft close and deep but don't extend that far. Still great. It was the easiest Ikea drawer build I've ever experienced! Just pay attention to the photos but fairly logical. I'll admit, I'm handy, but I built and moved this to its spot on my own.
Not worth 400 dollarsLandyI've bought IKEA furniture plenty of times but this drawer set was an absolute disappointment!
It was not easy to put together, the instructions were pretty confusing. As I was assembling it, I noticed how flimsy the frame was, literally being held up by little wooden nubs. I really wanted to love this dresser, but I had to immediately return it, because the wood was just falling apart as we were assembling it, chips everywhere, nubs were breaking. This is the quality I would expect from a $100 CAD dresser, not a $400 CAD dresser. Way too expensive for what it's actually worth.
TONSTAD DresserMichelleAbsolutely LOVE this dresser! We have a very limited space that couldn't fit a traditional dresser. This one fits perfectly! And, no knobs that stick out and bump into as well. Has the soft close, deep drawer space and feels solid.
Great sturdy dresserStephenWe purchased this dresser for our youngest daughter. Loved how easy this was to put together. I personally did find the instructions easy to use. Love the depth of the drawers. They are nice and deep which will be helpful as she gets older. Planning on purchasing this again for our oldest daughter.

Misunderstood piece of furniture LinaI purchased the item before reading the low reviews and was thinking this would be a very difficult item to put together, and hearing that the drawers don’t line up perfectly was also a let-down. However, it was not the case at all. This is definitely a two-person job since the dresser is very heavy but that’s a good thing(in my opinion). The install was not difficult to decipher. Remember that when installing the drawer slides, look for the “L” for left and “R” for right at the bottom of each slide to reassure that you are installing the correct slides on the correct board. This is found on the grey part of the slides, on the bottom. Now, when we completed everything and installed the drawers, they did not line up. Bad? No, actually it wasn’t because on each side of the drawer slides, there is a small washer-like mechanism that you can adjust yourself. You can raise it or drop it by tuning the washer. This will balance out the drawers and they will all match up. This is the last step
Impossible to assemble NicoleLove the look of this dresser and got the matching side tables, however I truly cannot get the top into the side and middle pieces. I’ve never struggled to assemble an ikea furniture item before and am so disappointed. Paid for delivery and am either going to have to return everything including the matching side tables or pay more $ to have “expert assembly”. I just wasted over an hour of my life so frustrated trying over and over again to fit the side and middle pieces into the corresponding 8 holes with no success. Not impressed.
Overpriced for quality MeghanSturdy and the brown stained oak veneer looks nice. Assembly requires two people and wasn’t the easiest. Drawers don’t line up as nicely as in the stock photo even though we followed the instructions carefully. Soft close is a nice touch but the dresser is still expensive considering it’s made from particalboard.
