Unfinished piecesAmeenaI've been eyeing this dresser for a couple months now, as I have the tonstad nightstand, and I love the finish. The dresser is not cheap - so purchasing it was a big decision! Upon receiving and opening the pieces to begin putting the drawers together, I immediately realized that on step 1, one of the sides of the dresser did not have the holes drilled in to screw in the drawer mechanisms! I was initially bewildered and second guessing myself, but after going through every part of the dresser again, I confirmed that yes, the side of the dresser was unfinished, and I'd either have to contact Ikea for a replacement, or drill the holes in myself. This was extremely frustrating, and just made me feel ridiculous for spending so much money on a faulty product. I will be contacting Ikea for support on this matter.1

Good design bad finishElioNice design, robust construction and straightforward assembly. However, upon completion of assembly, you'll notice five variations in wood color and pattern, which makes it look cheap. Not at all what I expected considering the product's price point.3
