Ikea products are well engineered and cut to shape precisely but the materials are poor quality and weak. I wish they would address this. I feel like the "first little piggy" when I assemble.

Extremely cheapClaudineThis countertop is to be stayed away from. It was scratched after 1 day, likely from the installers' drill (not a hole from the bit, just the drill deposited on the surface.) A true laminated countertop will not scratch from tools being put in top of it. The foil laminate is not waterproof, but it's sold as a bathroom countertop. Extremely sensitive to heat damage. Will try to get a refund but unknown if they'll accept since it's been installed. I would not recommend for any use.

Good, but...Sui-ChuBe careful with the right length of screws used to fasten the countertop. Wish adding 1/4 inches more to the thickness of the countertop.

Looks great but be warned of heat!JunkoJust redid our main bathroom and I love it. The countertop looks so good and the bathroom (also mostly ikea furniture) looks amazing.
HOWEVER, anyone looking to get this countertop be warned that it does not take heat well. I left my hair straightener on the counter to warm up for just a couple minutes and when I picked it up, the heat had left a light blue mark and there were some notches now in the surface of the counter (from the heat plus the grooves on the side of the straightener). I wish I had known this beforehand because now I’m so sad my new beautiful countertop is marked. TwT

vanity counter bathroom renoJackieI appreciated the small size as the bathroom reno I was doing only required this size. I liked the dark colour with the vanes going thru it. Although at this time the reno continue and it has not been installed it is a good match to the rest of the bathroom
